How to get LastPass Premium Using your Deakin Student Account
Deakin University has partnered with LastPass to provide premium subscription to all students.
- Log on to https://lastpass.com/partnerpremium/deakin. Enter your Deakin email (typically email@example.com) and your personal email address and "Submit".
- Check your Deakin email account as entered prior, as there will be an email from LastPass prompting you to click on a link provided to "Upgrade my account".
- Click on the link in the email and it will invite the user to select either "Create an Account" or "Log In" if they are an existing user.
- If you are new to LastPass, click on "Create Your Account" to set up your new LastPass account. Follow "How do I set up a LastPass account" for further assistance.
If you already have an account, login with your LastPass username and password and click on "Redeem Premium Upgrade" link.

What happens when I leave Deakin (no longer a student)? How long do I keep my LastPass Premium offering?
LastPass Premium is valid for one year from signup. A student can update every year as long as they are still enrolled at Deakin.
Do I really need to provide my personal email address?
Yes, a personal permanent email address is required to create and manage your account.
What if I also have a Staff account at Deakin?
Even if you have a staff account at Deakin, you can still use your student email address to sign up for LastPass Premium. You can use your staff account to register for LastPass Enterprise (coming soon in 2020).
