Duo Mobile (MFA) – Setting up 'Remember Me' for 7 Days

When signing in via Deakin's Single Sign-On (SSO), users who have configured the Duo Mobile application will be able to use the 'Remember me' option.

  1. Sign in using your Deakin username, and Deakin password.



  2. Click 'Remeber me' before approving the push from your mobile device.

Is your web browser requesting you to authenticate every time even though you have selected the option to 'Remember me'? 

Even though you have selected the option to 'Remember me' your web browser may request you to authenticate with a Push/Passcode every time you log in. This may occur if your browser cookies are disabled or if your browser settings are currently set to delete cookies automatically after closing the browser. Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More and then select Settings.
  3. At the bottom click Advanced.
  4. Under "Privacy and security", click Site Settings and then select Cookies.
  5. Turn off 'Keep local data only until you quit your browser'.

Apple Safari (for Mac)

  1. Open Apple Safari.
  2. on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Privacy.
  3. Ensure that 'Prevent cross-site tracking' is unchecked or disabled.

Apple Safari (for iPhone)

  1. Go to "Settings" on your iPhone
  2. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Privacy.
  3. Ensure that 'Prevent cross-site tracking' is unchecked or disabled.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox
  2. At the top right, click three horizontal bars and then select Options.
  3. Select Privacy & Security from the left panel.
  4. Uncheck the box for Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed.
