What is a Confluence Wiki Space?

A space is an area within the Deakin Wiki, containing your pages and other content. You can think of each space as a sub-site, or mini-site, each with its own home page.

You can choose to have blank space created, or from a space blueprint.

How do I get a Wiki space created?

Contact the IT Service Desk and provide the following info;

  • Name of the space required.

  • If the space is to be a top-level or a subspace of another space.
    For example, a top-level space is a main space that is visible on the Deakin Wiki home page, a subspace could be a space that is within one of those main spaces.

  • The Username/Group that will administer the Space.

  • The specific space type (if required) - see More information
