When re-enrolling, you will need to follow the course rules outlined in the University Handbook for the course version from the year you started studying. Select the Handbook for the appropriate year, search for your course page, and you will find the course rules and structure listed.
You will also need to search for what units are available in the most recent year’s Handbook.
Most courses will also have a course map. Course maps are a visual tool to help you understand your course’s rules and structure. Use the Course maps webpage to search for your course and year.
Tips:
- Ensure you complete any compulsory/core units.
- Consider prerequisite units, these are units which must be completed before enrolment in some units.
- Consider co-requisite units, these are units which must be completed before or at the same time as some units.
- You should follow your course map in sequence. It is recommended to request an updated course map from a Student Adviser if you have failed units or studied part time and are out of sequence.
