Deakin Corporate Mobile - Transfer a device to a new position within Deakin


If you have a corporate mobile device and accept a new position within Deakin, you will need to negotiate with your new organisational area for your corporate mobile device to be continued.

Corporate mobile devices are usually provided to staff relating to the requirements and responsibilities of a specific position. Organisational areas may therefore wish to retain the corporate mobile device and its service number with that position to ensure business process continuity, therefore you may not be able to take the device and service number with you to a new position.

Mobile contacts within the new area must obtain agreement from the current area's mobile contact to proceed - then notify the Solve via servicedesk@solve.com.au to update the details in the billing system.

Outstanding Costs

Organisational areas will be responsible for any charges incurred as a result of not ensuring appropriate transfer of mobile phones to other areas.
