Pairing 2 Jabra 930 Headsets Together

It is possible to pair 2 Jabra Pro 930 headsets to the same dock for training purposes, to allow a trainer to listen to calls.

Prior to pairing the headsets together, make sure your headsets are set up as per the settings in this article - Jabra Headset Troubleshooting

Pairing Headsets

After configuring your headsets, you need to pair the headsets together while on a call.

To connect the headsets:

  1. Begin a call
  2. Place the 2nd headset on the 1st headsets dock
  3. When the headset has been successfully paired with the base, a voice prompt is announced in the primary headset.
  4. Press the Call button on the primary headset to accept the additional headset. The audio is then shared with additional headsets, which are muted by default.
  5. Take the 2nd headset off the dock - you should now be able to hear the audio from the other headset, and the other end of the call
Make sure you immediately mute the 2nd headset (by pressing the middle of the 3 buttons on end). Until this is done all audio from the 2nd headset can be heard by all parties
  6. At the end of the call, do not dock the 1st headset, as this will end the link.

Difficulty pairing to your own base after training

If you are unable to pair your Jabra Pro 930 headset to your own base again you can force it to pair by following these instructions.

  1. Dock the new headset in the base
  2. Press the multi-function button for 1-2 seconds
  3. The headset LED will begin to flash. The forced pairing will take between 10 seconds - 2 minutes
  4. When paired successfully, the battery indicator will turn green (or red if the headset battery is low).
