What are the Deakin Bus Services?

The Deakin bus services are free, convenient and sustainable ways to travel to and from the Geelong campuses. There are a few different options available to Deakin students and staff.

Deakin runs an intercampus shuttle bus between the Geelong Waterfront and Geelong Waurn Ponds campuses. This bus also stops at the Barwon Valley Activity Centre (BVAC) car park where Deakin students can park for free.

There's also an express shuttle bus from Try Boys Basketball Stadium to Geelong Waterfront campus. It can help save you from having to find a car park in the Geelong CBD.

Please note that the bus services only run on weekdays when the University is open. The service does not run on weekends or when the University is closed for business.

For more information including bus stops, maps and timetables, please visit the Deakin bus services webpage.

If you are studying on a different campus, or want to take a public bus, find out what buses are available through public transport by selecting your campus on the Locations webpage.
