As an international student on a student visa, you are required to study on-campus in a full-time study load. To maintain a full-time study load, you are required to enrol into eight credit points per academic year or equivalent to allow completion within course duration of your confirmation of enrolment (CoE).
- If you are enrolled in trimester-based courses, you are required to enrol in 4 credit points in both Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 and a minimum of one of these units must be an on-campus unit unless it is the final unit to complete your course. If you wish to spread your study load across Trimesters 1, 2 and 3 you will need to talk to a Student Adviser.
- If you are enrolled in semester-based courses, you are required to enrol in 4 credit points in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 and a minimum of one of these units must be an on-campus unit unless it is the final unit to complete your course.
- To find out what counts as a full-time study load, visit the Enrolment Conditions for your Student Visa webpage.
- If you need to add units to meet your requirements, make sure you add these units now in StudentConnect.
- If there are reasons why you can’t study full-time, please make an appointment with a Student Adviser as soon as possible.
