How do I order a replacement Testamur?

A testamur (or certificate) is the award certificate and official document that confirms the conferral of your course and includes your majors and specialisations, distinction and honours, if awarded.

You'll receive a printed copy of your testamur in a testamur pocket at no charge to you on the day of your graduation or if you've graduate in absentia (not attending a ceremony), in the mail 4-6 weeks after your graduation date. Digital copies will be available on My eQuals approximately 1 week after your ceremony date, also free of charge.(If it’s been more than 12 months since you graduated and you haven’t received your testamur, we'll also require you to complete the replacement testamur form (PDF, 233.8KB) and pay the replacement testamur fee.)

If you require a replacement hardcopy testamur, you can purchase and access copies through the online order form. You will also need to complete the replacement testamur form (PDF, 233.8KB) and email the completed form to graduations@deakin.edu.au for processing.

Digital testamurs for students who graduated prior to October 2018 are only available if ordering a replacement hardcopy testamur at the same time.

Unfortunately, we can't replace testamurs from institutions that are no longer part of Deakin, such as the State College of Victoria (Geelong and Warrnambool), Institute of Advanced Education (IAE) or Victoria College (Burwood, Toorak and Clayton).
