How do I get a student ID card?

Once enrolled, you can order your student ID card online by completing the Deakin Card ID form. You will need to attach your photo and a scanned copy of supporting identification (e.g. passport, current drivers licence or Keypass). Your ID card will be issued and delivered to your postal address.

If you have intermitted or deferred your course, you will need to wait until you've returned to or started your study before being eligible for a card.

Delivery of Deakin Card impacted by COVID-19

As we have limited access to our campus services, Deakin Cards are taking longer to produce and send. Please submit your request and you will be notified through our online enquiry system when you can expect to receive the card. At the moment this is between 10-15 days within Australia and 20 days if posted overseas.

Cards due to expire

If you are a student with a card expiring at the end of the current year but will be continuing your studies in the following year, a new card will be sent to you in the mail by the end of January in the new year.
