Staff must change their password every 18 months. Student passwords do not expire.
You can reset expired passwords from your Deakin workstation (PC or Mac). Password changes will automatically integrate and synchronise with services such as Exchange/Outlook, OWA and Keychains.
Staff will receive an email reminding them to change their password with the following days remaining til expiration:
Accounts will become disabled if the password expires. Subsequently access to most services will also be disabled.
Your account will move from being in a disabled state to a locked state after four additional weeks. You will then have to contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
